In February 1988, dmfLIGHTING was born. Conceived by two people who had passion on industrial design, Mark Danesh, an electrical
engineer with extensive technical experience, and Faye Chad with vast experience in marketing. Just like building a family, the couple started their initial operation in a small place in West Jefferson, Los Angeles.
The company started with simple 4” cans and some trims for initial local operation. The couple weaned, harbored and worked hard and through the years, they were able to increase their product lines and expand their territories. After a few years of hard work, Mark and Faye were delighted to see how the market accepted their labor. It was an American dream.
The couple pledges to expand the company’s direction to explore new and better lighting products. Each year, dmfLIGHTING introduces new product lines, new track heads, and new trims. In the past five years, dmfLIGHTING has grown and extended their wings from their local
operation to nationwide reach. From a simple 4” can, dmfLIGHTING is now proud to offer a wide range of product lines like track lighting, recessed lighting and industrial lighting. In the year 2000, dmfLIGHTING moved to a larger area for increased inventories and to provide space to new products as well.
Behind the success of dmfLIGHTING are the loyal dmf employees, who stood with the company 100%...and as for Mark and Faye, the Heart and Soul of the company, they remained grounded and centered inspite of the success they achieved. dmfLIGHTING is here to STAY!
