Congratulations to Colina West, winner of the 2021 DMF Design Award for Best Accent and/or Task Lighting Application. This commercial renovation of a 100 year old building in the heart of Austin, TX, brought a more modern aesthetic to the ground floor infrastructure. With their creative use of DMF Fixed and Adjustable Downlights the talented team was able raise the bar for the quality of lighting and brought a dramatic focus to the key architectural highlights that this newly restored location offered.

Congratulations to Illuminated Design, winner of the 2021 DMF Design Award for Best Residential Lighting Application. The judges were particularly impressed with all the different applications of their lighting design to uniquely address the needs of the Pelican Bay residence.

Description: “DMF Lighting’s M Series Residential helped us overcome the challenge of limited plenum space in this condo. A 5″ max height is all we were allowed. DMF’s engineered housing allowed the product to fit perfectly alongside the ductwork and all the other mechanicals. In addition, when the electrical inspector was looking at the project he mentioned how ingenious the housing was engineered. We were faced with many obstacles to contend with and the DMF products performed beautifully.”  – Lynne Stambouly, Senior Lighting Designer and CEO
