Cushing Terrell has a view of the downtown Seattle waterfront and the Olympic Mountains. There was a focus on reusing materials from their previous office. A kitchen, dining room, and design lab were added for collaboration and socializing.

A 1,900,000-square-foot building that draws inspiration from many cultures with Japanese-style minimal aesthetics and a French-style bistro. The luxury rooms include private terraces and large closet space. Guests can access a fitness center, spa, and rooftop pool.

Located across the street from the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Grand LA is a $1-billion mixed-use complex by famed architect Frank Gehry.

Anchoring the open plaza is Conrad Los Angeles, a contemporary luxury hotel with 305 modern rooms, meeting spaces, and hotel spa.

Featured in designing lighting, the hotel features a valet area with varying ceiling heights of 10 to 50 feet. Lighting designer KGM placed 4-inch DMF downlights behind columns to prevent aiming toward drivers’ eyes. DMF downlights are arranged in a constellation pattern leading guests past the hotel entrance to the lobby for the residential tower.
